Cottingley, Harden & Wilsden

Cottingley, Harden, and Wilsden are residential areas on the northwestern edge of Bradford. The landscape is characterised by a mix of older stone-built housing and more modern developments, set within a series of valleys and gentle hills. Local amenities are centred around small parades of shops and community pubs, serving the immediate neighbourhoods. The Leeds and Liverpool Canal runs through the southern part of this area, providing a route for walking and cycling.

A notable local landmark is the single-span stone bridge known as Beckfoot Bridge, which carries a road over Harden Beck. Surrounding green spaces, including St Ives Estate and Harden Moor, offer extensive woodland and moorland walks directly from the residential streets.
