Cubbington & Leek Wootton

The Cubbon & Leek Wootton ward encompasses a largely rural area on the northern fringes of Warwick, characterised by its open fields and the River Avon flowing along its eastern boundary. The settlement pattern consists of the two distinct, separate villages of Cubbington and Leek Wootton, each with their own historic cores, alongside the smaller hamlet of Guy's Cliffe. The landscape is defined by agricultural land and pockets of woodland, with the A46 trunk road passing through the western part of the area, providing a major transport link.

Local governance is shared with the town of Warwick, but the ward maintains a strong, separate village identity. The area includes the grounds of the former Woodcote House, now home to the North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College. A notable local feature is the ancient Cubbington Pear Tree, a wild pear that once stood as a landmark in the surrounding fields. Community life focuses on the village halls, churches, and primary school in Leek Wootton.
