Warwick

Warwick district sits in central Warwickshire and combines market towns with farming villages. It includes Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Kenilworth and smaller parishes. The River Avon runs through Warwick and Leamington Spa, and Warwick Castle stands on a bend of the river; the castle began as a Norman stronghold built shortly after the Conquest. Leamington Spa retains the Royal Pump Rooms building, now housing the town museum and the assembly rooms that once served the spa visitors, and Jephson Gardens lies close by along the river.
