Emersons Green

Emersons Green sits on the northeastern edge of Bristol in South Gloucestershire, built largely on former agricultural land from the late 20th century. The area is organised around a village centre with shops, a community centre, and several primary schools, and it links into the newer Lyde Green development to the east. Pockets of open space and playing fields follow the line of local streams, and there are allotment sites and footpaths used by residents for short walks and commuting by bike or on foot.

A business and retail park nearby supplies jobs and everyday services for the neighbourhood. Public transport runs between Emersons Green and central Bristol, and local roads connect to the wider motorway network without passing through central areas. The mix of housing, workplaces and community facilities means many daily needs can be met within the area, reducing the need for longer trips.
