Endlebury

Endlebury ward is a residential area in the northeast of thealtham Forest, bordering Chingford. The housing is primarily a mix of interwar and post-war semi-detached homes, with some modern infill developments. It is characterised by quiet, tree-lined streets and several small greens and open spaces, including Endlebury Recreation Ground. The local community is served by a few parades of shops offering essential services along Chingford Mount Road.

A significant feature is the King George's Field, a large area of public playing fields and woodland that forms a central green lung for the ward. The area is well-connected by several bus routes linking to Chingford station and the Central Line. The former Endlebury House, now part of a school, hints at the area's historical transition from a rural estate to suburbia in the early 20th century.
