Ermin

Ermin ward covers a largely rural portion of the Cotswolds, characterised by rolling limestone hills and expansive farmland. The landscape is defined by dry stone walls and scattered farmsteads, with the small, historic market town of Northleach forming its primary settlement. This area is traversed by the ancient Roman road known as the Fosse Way, which cuts directly through the countryside.

The local economy remains closely tied to agriculture, though Northleach provides a central hub with its notable medieval church and historic market square. The area is part of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with public footpaths allowing exploration of the quiet, open fields and wooded valleys. The ward's settlements maintain a traditional architectural style using the region's distinctive honey-coloured stone.
