Fishtoft & Wyberton East

Fishtoft & Wyberton East form a ward on the Lincolnshire Fen edge within the Borough of Boston. The landscape is low-lying reclaimed fenland crossed by a dense network of drains, ditches and straight roads. Agriculture dominates the land use, with long arable fields and polytunnels that reflect market growing for vegetables and cereals. Field boundaries are often limited to banks and drains, giving long, open sightlines across the fields and onto the skyline where wind turbines and occasional farm buildings appear.

Settlement is a mix of small clusters of houses, village services and parish facilities set along lanes and minor roads. Local footpaths often follow drainage channels and provide access across the fen.
