About

Goodrington sits on the Paignton coast of Torbay around Goodrington Sands, a sandy bay with a long promenade, beachside cafes and rock pools exposed at low tide. The Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway runs along the seafront and calls at Goodrington Sands station, so heritage steam services and beach access sit side by side. Quaywest water park occupies part of the seafront and family facilities cluster close to the car parks and access ramps that lead down to the sand.

Roselands lies just inland from the coast and rises away from the shoreline into a mainly residential area with local shops, community spaces and primary schools that serve the neighbourhood. Streets link directly to the seafront routes, making the beach and railway a short walk from most homes. Small greens and playing fields provide outdoor space between the housing, and several pedestrian paths give direct access to the coastal promenade and Goodrington Sands station.
