Heath

Heath ward sits in the northern part of the borough, characterised by extensive residential streets and several significant green spaces. The area is primarily residential, with a mix of housing types from terraced homes to modern apartment developments. It is bordered by the A124 to the west and contains the grounds of Eastbrookend Country Park within its boundaries, providing a large natural area for recreation.

A notable feature is the historic Eastbrookend Discovery Centre, which serves as an educational hub within the park. The ward includes the sprawling grounds of the former Dagenham Sanatorium, with some original buildings still present. Transport links are provided by local bus routes connecting to nearby town centres and railway stations outside the ward's immediate area.
