Henley-in-Arden

Henley-in-Arden is a linear settlement situated along the old Birmingham to Stratford-upon-Aven road, following the route of the A3400. The ward encompasses the historic town centre with its long, wide High Street, which is a designated conservation area. This main thoroughfare is lined with timber-framed buildings dating from the medieval period onwards, reflecting the town's long history as a market and coaching stop. The area includes residential streets extending from this core.

The landscape is characterised by its position within the River Alne valley, with the waterway flowing to the west of the main settlement. The ward contains a mix of housing, from older cottages to more modern developments, alongside local shops and services that cater to the community. A notable feature is the preserved Henley-in-Arden railway station, a reminder of the former Great Western Railway line that once connected the town to the wider network before its closure in the 1960s.
