Hightown

Hightown ward occupies the northernmost section of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough, forming a largely rural landscape that borders County Londonderry. The area is characterised by rolling drumlin hills and scattered farmsteads, with the small settlement of Hightown itself providing a focal point. The ward's topography is defined by the upper reaches of the Six Mile Water river valley, which influences its agricultural use and natural drainage patterns.

A notable feature is the presence of the long-established Hightown Presbyterian Church, a landmark within the community. The area includes the upland terrain around Divis Mountain, where the terrain opens into expansive moorland with panoramic views.
