Ickenham & South Harefield

Ickenham & South Harefield is a ward in the west of the London Borough of Hillingdon. It primarily consists of the suburban area of Ickenham and the southern part of the village of Harefield, bordering Buckinghamshire. The ward is characterised by residential streets, local parks, and the Grand Union Canal which runs through Harefield. It is served by Ickenham station on the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines, providing a direct link to central London.

The area includes notable green spaces like Ickenham Marsh, a Site of Metropolitan Importance for nature conservation. Harefield is home to the renowned Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital, a major specialist heart and lung centre. The community maintains a distinct local character, with its own high street in Ickenham and the historic Harefield village centre, separate from the larger urban centres nearby.
