Killymeal

Killymeal ward covers a largely rural expanse in the eastern part of Mid Ulster, characterised by a landscape of small farms, low drumlins, and scattered residential dwellings. The area's road network connects smaller settlements and townlands, with agricultural activity forming the predominant land use across its fields and hedgerows.

The ward is notable for containing the western shoreline of Lough Neagh, where the land meets the water in a mix of reed beds and gentle inlets. This proximity to the lough influences the local environment and provides a distinct, open aspect to the northern sections of the ward, contrasting with its inland pastoral character.
