Knowle is a large village in the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull, West Midlands, situated a few miles southeast of Solihull town centre. The village centre is built along the High Street, where a conservation area protects a number of timber-framed and brick buildings dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. A traditional village green sits near the centre, framed by shops, pubs and the parish church. Small clusters of housing spread out from the High Street toward the edges of the village.
