Letchworth Grange

Letchworth Grange is a residential ward situated on the western side of Letchworth Garden City. The area is characterised by a mix of interwar and post-war housing, with a notable concentration of 1930s semi-detached homes along its quieter, tree-lined streets. The layout follows the Garden City principles of its surroundings, incorporating generous green spaces and a sense of planned order. Local shopping needs are served by the Grange estate's own parade of shops.

The ward is bordered by the Westbury estate to the north and the main railway line to the south. A key local feature is the Grange Recreation Ground, which provides sports pitches and a playground. The area is also home to the Grange Community Centre, a hub for local groups. Norton Common, a large area of woodland and meadows with a historic ice house, lies directly to the east, separating it from the town centre.
