Linslade East

Linslade East is a ward of Central Bedfordshire on the Bedfordshire side of the Leighton-Linslade conurbation. The River Ouzel runs through the area, creating a linear green corridor that threads past housing and small open spaces. Streets here are largely residential, with a mix of terraces and later suburban housing, and local shopping parades and primary schools serve day-to-day needs. The ward is administered as part of Central Bedfordshire and sits within short travelling distance of Leighton Buzzard town facilities.

Transport links include local bus routes and straightforward road connections to the A4146 and nearby rail services at Leighton Buzzard. The old parish boundary between Linslade and Leighton Buzzard remains visible in changes to street layouts and property lines, a reminder of how the two settlements grew together while keeping distinct local identities.
