Loggerheads ward is located in the northwest of the Newcastle-under-Lyme borough, bordering the Staffordshire Moorlands. The area is primarily residential, featuring a mix of housing developments and older properties set around the village of Loggerheads itself. It encompasses several smaller settlements, including Ashley, parts of Baldwins Gate, and the area around the A53. The landscape is characterised by a transition from town to more open, rural surroundings, with fields and woodland pockets.
