Maghull South West

Maghull South West sits within the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton in Merseyside, on the south-west edge of Maghull town. The area is aligned with the A59 (Liverpool Road) and the Ormskirk branch of the Merseyrail network; Maghull station provides regular services into Liverpool Central in about 20–25 minutes. Housing is mainly a mix of post-war terraces, semi-detached homes and later estates, arranged around a network of residential streets and short cul-de-sacs. Local road links connect to the M58 and the wider motorway network via Switch Island to the south-east.

Community facilities are concentrated near Station Road and Liverpool Road, where shops, a supermarket and day-to-day services sit alongside a surgery and primary schools.
