Sandbach Ettiley Heath and Wheelock

Sandbach Ettiley Heath and Wheelock ward lies in the north of the town of Sandbach. It is primarily a residential area, containing housing estates and local amenities. The ward includes the distinct communities of Ettiley Heath and Wheelock, the latter named after the River Wheelock which flows through the area. The landscape is generally flat, with pockets of green space and playing fields integrated among the homes. Local shopping parades and schools serve the immediate population.

A significant feature is the Trent and Mersey Canal, which forms a northern boundary. The canal towpath provides a route for walking and cycling through the ward.
