Shepperton Town

Shepperton Town ward encompasses the main residential settlement of Shepperton village, situated within a curve of the River Thames. The area is characterised by suburban housing, local shops, and community facilities centred along High Street and Shepperton High Street. Its western boundary is defined by the railway line, which provides a direct connection to London Waterloo. The ward includes several green spaces, such as the Manor Park recreation ground near the riverbank.

A notable feature is the Shepperton Lock, a working Thames lock and weir located at the end of Ferry Lane. The historic Shepperton Studios, a major film production facility, lies just outside the ward's boundary to the north. Residential roads often lead towards the Thames, with some properties having direct mooring access. The area maintains a distinct village atmosphere despite its proximity to larger urban centres.
