Stivichall & Finham

Stivichall and Finham lie on the south-west edge of Coventry, made up largely of housing, shops and local services. Streets around Stivichall Road and Green Lane link the two neighbourhoods to the city, and several bus routes run through the area. Schools serve the community at primary and secondary levels, and small commercial clusters sit near the main junctions. Everyday life here centres on local facilities and short trips into the city rather than long-distance travel.

Green space is a strong feature. Stivichall Common provides open land and a network of paths that step down toward the low-lying ground where Finham Brook runs eastward and meets the River Sowe. Playing fields, allotments and a scattering of mature tree belts frame the residential streets. Local clubs and community groups use the pitches and halls along the brook, and a handful of old field boundaries and footpaths still shape movement across the area.
