Sundon Park

Sundon Park is a residential area in north Luton named after the nearby village of Sundon. The neighbourhood grew up in the mid-20th century around Sundon Park Road and is made up mainly of terraced and semi-detached housing with a pattern of streets and cul-de-sacs. The ward bearing the same name is clearly marked on local maps and the built area meets open land to the north that leads toward the village and farmland.

Local life centres on a parade of shops, a primary school, community facilities and playing fields that serve neighbourhood teams and groups. Public transport links run along the main roads and provide regular services into other parts of Luton. A narrow green corridor follows part of the estate edge, used informally by walkers and as a route between housing and allotments, and small pockets of planted trees and verges mark the transition from suburban streets to the fields beyond.
