Tiverton Westexe

Tiverton Westexe ward lies on the western edge of the town of Tiverton, situated within the Mid Devon district. The area is primarily residential, characterised by a mix of housing estates, local shops, and community facilities. It is bordered by the River Exe to the south and contains several green spaces, including the playing fields at Westexe Recreation Ground. The ward functions as a residential suburb for the larger town centre.

The area includes the Westexe South neighbourhood and is served by local schools such as Wilcombe Primary. A notable local feature is the historic Westexe Tower, a remnant of the town's medieval defences, which stands near the modern housing. Transport links are provided by the A396 road, which connects the ward to the town centre and routes out towards Bampton and Exmoor.
