Upton

Upton ward sits in the northern part of Slough, bordered by the A4 Bath Road to the south and the M4 motorway to the north. The area is primarily residential, characterised by a mix of interwar and post-war housing estates, with some modern developments. Its streets are lined with semi-detached and detached homes, alongside several local parks and green spaces that provide recreational areas for residents. Upton Park itself offers sports facilities and open ground.

The ward contains Upton Court Park, a large public space that includes playing fields, a golf course, and the historic Upton Court. This 18th-century red-brick house, once a manor, now sits within the park grounds. The area is served by local shops and schools along Upton Lane and surrounding roads, forming a settled suburban community with direct transport links into Slough town centre and towards the motorway network.
