Victoria & Norcross

Victoria & Norcross ward encompasses a largely residential and agricultural area on the eastern side of the Wyre district. It includes the villages of Stalmine, Staynall, and the hamlet of Hambleton, featuring a mix of older housing estates and newer developments. The landscape is primarily flat, open farmland, with the River Wyre forming part of its western boundary. This gives the area a distinctly rural character, with fields and drainage channels defining much of the scenery.

A notable feature is the presence of the historic Stalmine Hall, a Grade II listed building set within its own grounds. The ward also contains several small businesses and local community facilities, such as village halls and primary schools, serving the scattered population. Transport links are provided by the A588 road, which connects the villages to the wider Fylde coast, while the Lancaster Canal passes through the northern section, adding to the quiet, pastoral atmosphere.
