West Ewell

West Ewell is a residential ward located in the northern part of the borough of Epsom and Ewell. It is bordered by the Hogsmill River to the north and the A240 Ewell Bypass to the south. The area consists primarily of suburban housing, with a mix of interwar semis-detached homes and more recent developments. Local amenities are centred along Chessington Road and West Ewell's parade of shops, which serve the community's daily needs.

The ward is characterised by several areas of green space, including the Hogsmill Local Nature Reserve which follows the river's course. A notable feature is the presence of the former West Ewell railway station, which closed in the 1960s, with some remnants of the line's infrastructure still visible. The area is primarily a commuter location, with good road links to Kingston, Sutton, and central London via nearby rail stations in Ewell.
