Westerfield, Grundisburgh & Bredfield

Westerfield, Grundisburgh and Bredfield form a rural area northwest of Woodbridge in East Suffolk. The landscape is characterised by gently rolling farmland, scattered woodlands, and the upper reaches of the River Fynn. The settlements are connected by narrow, hedge-lined lanes, with each village centred around its historic church and village green, preserving a quiet, agricultural character. A notable local landmark is the 15th-century Grundisburgh Dog, a large, painted wooden figure of a bulldog mounted on the village pub.
