Weston

Weston sits on the north‑west edge of Bath, within Bath and North East Somerset, and began as a distinct village before becoming part of the city. The area is mainly residential, with a mix of late‑19th and 20th‑century housing, a primary school, local shops and a community hall. Weston Road provides a direct link toward the A4, and regular bus services connect the neighbourhood to Bath city centre. A compact cluster of streets around a small triangular green preserves the sense of the old village at the heart of the area.

Green space shapes much of Weston. A long recreation ground near the centre hosts football pitches and allotments used by local growing groups, and some streets rise to give open views over the lower parts of Bath. Community groups use the hall and open spaces for events through the year, and small parades and gatherings still follow traditional routes along the older streets. Services and shops focus on day‑to‑day needs, so residents commonly walk to the green, the school and nearby stores.
