About

Winnersh sits in Wokingham Borough, Berkshire, a short distance east of Reading and north-west of Wokingham town. The area is split between a residential village and the adjacent Winnersh Triangle business estate, which occupies a roughly triangular parcel of land between the A329(M) and the railway. Two stations, Winnersh and Winnersh Triangle, provide regular local services on the line between Reading and London Waterloo, making commuting straightforward. The River Loddon runs close to the settlement and shapes several local footpaths and green corridors along its floodplain.

Locally there is a mix of housing types, primary school facilities, small retail parades and sports pitches, alongside office and light industrial units at the Triangle estate. Community groups use a village hall and playing fields for events and clubs throughout the year. The business park, the rail halts and the river corridor combine to define Winnersh’s pattern of streets and open space, and the proximity of the A329(M) gives quick road links without placing the village centre directly on a trunk route.
