Broadfield

Broadfield is a residential area located to the east of Leyland's town centre. The ward is primarily characterised by housing estates, ranging from inter-war semis to more modern developments. Local amenities are focused along key routes like Broadfield Drive and Moss Lane, serving the immediate community. The area includes several primary schools and green spaces such as Broadfield Park for recreation.

The ward's landscape is relatively flat, with the River Lostock flowing along its southern boundary. A notable local feature is the former Worden Hall estate grounds, now a public park, which extend into the area from the adjacent ward. Housing density increases closer to the Leyland central business district, with quieter, more suburban streets towards the eastern edges.
