About

Cleveleys East occupies the eastern side of the town of Cleveleys on the Fylde coast in the Borough of Wyre. The area runs along the seafront where a paved promenade and a continuous sea wall face the Irish Sea. At low tide the foreshore reveals sand flats and a regular series of wooden groynes that extend from the promenade to the waterline, a feature that shapes the beach profile and is visible from the esplanade. Streets behind the promenade are mainly residential, with a mix of terraces and short terraces feeding into small local roads.

Local services and shops cluster along Victoria Road and the streets that meet it, with cafes, convenience stores and small businesses serving residents. Bus routes use the main roads, linking the area to other parts of Wyre. Public green spaces and small community halls provide venues for local events and groups. The seafront promenade is frequently used for walking and cycling, and its straight alignment along the coastline gives clear sightlines east and west from the eastern end of Cleveleys.
