Conisbrough North

Conisbrough North sits in the northern part of the town of Conisbrough, within the Doncaster borough. The area is mainly residential, with a mix of Victorian terraces and later semi-detached housing laid out around short streets and small green spaces. A local parade of shops, a community centre and sports pitches serve everyday needs, while Conisbrough railway station on the Sheffield–Doncaster line gives regular rail links. The River Don runs close to the northern edge of the settlement and there are riverside paths used for walking and cycling.
The town centre lies a short walk to the south where the 12th-century circular keep of Conisbrough Castle rises above the streets; St Peter's church and other historic buildings are clustered nearby. The north area retains traces of the town's industrial past in place names and housing patterns from the coal era, and local community groups run events on recreation grounds. For visitors and residents the appeal is a compact, walkable neighbourhood with direct rail access, waterside routes and a visible medieval keep anchoring the local skyline.
