Denbigh Caledfryn Henllan

Denbigh Caledfryn Henllan ward is a primarily rural area situated to the south and west of the town of Denbigh. It encompasses several distinct communities, including the historic village of Henllan itself, which sits on a ridge overlooking the Vale of Clwyd. The landscape is characterised by rolling agricultural land, small woodlands, and the meandering course of the River Clwyd, which forms part of its eastern boundary. This is a working area of farms and smaller settlements.

A notable feature is the preserved Henllan railway station, a reminder of the former Denbigh, Ruthin and Corwen Railway line that once served the area. The geography includes the steep slopes of the Clwydian Range to the east, though the ward's land is generally lower lying. The local economy has strong ties to agriculture, and the area provides a quiet residential setting with views across the broad vale towards the hills.
