Kilburn Grange

Kilburn Grange sits on the northern edge of the London Borough of Camden, close to the boundary with Brent and beside Kilburn High Road. The area is residential, with a mix of Victorian terraced houses and mid-20th-century mansion blocks lining short, mostly straight streets. Local shops, bakeries and small grocery stores cluster along the high road and are served by frequent bus routes. Many buildings were laid out in the late 19th century, and bay windows and brick dressings are common features on the terraces.

A pocket of green, Kilburn Grange Park, provides a playground and open grass used for informal games and community events. Schoolyards and small playing fields sit within walking distance, and several community centres host classes and meetings through the week. The street pattern and scale make the area walkable; several narrow side streets open onto the park, giving residents quick access to green space while keeping the high road’s services close at hand.
