Marlow East

Marlow East covers the eastern side of Marlow town, close to the River Thames and within easy walking distance of the town centre. The area is mainly residential, with short terraces, family houses and some apartment blocks, and it contains everyday shops, a primary school and small businesses that serve local needs. Public transport links include local buses and the Marlow branch railway connection to Maidenhead, which provides onward rail services into London.

The riverside is a key local reference: the Marlow town reach of the Thames runs along the southern edge and is home to boat clubs and the annual Marlow Town Regatta, staged between the town bridge and Higginson Park. The town’s cast-iron suspension bridge by William Tierney Clark sits nearby and is a familiar crossing for residents. Footpaths along the river and lanes into the nearby Chiltern scarp give direct access to open countryside from the eastern neighbourhoods, making the area convenient for both daily commerce and outdoor leisure.
