Molescroft

Molescroft sits immediately north of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire and is organised around a mix of housing estates, local shops and community facilities. The area has a parish council, a primary school and a community centre that serve nearby residents. Much of the settlement gives way to farmland and a network of footpaths at its edges, so journeys on foot often lead quickly from streets into open fields. On several older lanes the line of a hedged field boundary remains visible where new housing meets former agricultural land.

Local green space and small play areas are scattered through the neighbourhood, and short lanes and cul-de-sacs are a common street pattern. For everyday needs people use the village shops and services rather than travelling into Beverley, and many residents walk or cycle to the town for rail and bus connections.
