Rhuddlan & Bodelwyddan

The Rhuddlan and Bodelwyddan area lies on the coastal plain of the Vale of Clwyd. The landscape is characterised by flat, fertile farmland, with the River Clwyd winding through it. The town of Rhuddlan is historically significant, centred around a 13th-century castle built by Edward I, which sits beside the river. This low-lying area is defined by its agricultural use and its position along the waterway.
