Skelton

Skelton is a village and civil parish in the borough of Redcar and Cleveland. The settlement clusters around a village street and green, with coats of stone buildings and a parish church marking the centre. Close to the village stands Skelton Castle, a castellated country house set within parkland on the edge of the settlement; its castellated silhouette and surrounding walls are a familiar local landmark.
