Smallfield & Felbridge

Smallfield and Felbridge sit in Tandridge, on the eastern edge of Surrey. Smallfield forms part of the civil parish of Burstow and clusters around Smallfield Green, which hosts the village fete each summer on the triangular green. Felbridge spreads along a series of lanes and contains pockets of mixed woodland and farmland that step down from the higher ground into small paddocks and allotments. Houses, farms and field boundaries give the area a patchwork pattern rather than a single centre.

Day-to-day life is organised around a village hall, a primary school, a small parade of shops and a handful of local pubs and clubs. Bus services link residents to larger towns and rail stations beyond the district, while footpaths and bridleways allow direct access into surrounding woods and across arable fields. Local parish and residents’ associations manage allotment sites and seasonal events, and the ward returns representatives to Tandridge District Council for planning and services.
