Waterloo

Waterloo ward is a residential area located in the north of Havant. It is primarily made up of housing estates, with a mix of property types from different decades. The ward contains several local schools and community facilities, including a library and sports fields. Its boundaries are largely defined by major roads like the A3023 and the railway line to the south.

A notable local feature is the Bedhampton Springs, a series of freshwater springs that feed into the Hermitage Stream. The area includes the grounds of the former Waterloo Hospital, with some of its historic buildings now repurposed. Open spaces like the Springwood and Havant Thicket provide accessible green areas for residents on the ward's eastern edges.
