The Welsh Harp is a large reservoir in the Brent borough, surrounded by parkland and nature reserves. Its formal name is the Brent Reservoir, created in the 19th century to supply the Regent's Canal. The area is defined by the water and its wooded edges, with sailing clubs and walking paths along its perimeter.

A significant breeding population of great crested grebes can be found here, a species once nearly extinct in Britain. The reservoir is split between the boroughs of Brent and Barnet, with the Cool Oak Lane bridge crossing its centre, separating the wider northern and narrower southern sections.
