Beulah and Llangoedmor

Beulah and Llangoedmor is a ward encompassing rural settlements and farmland north of the Teifi estuary, with the village of Beulah at its core. The area is characterised by narrow country lanes, scattered farms, and wooded valleys that slope towards the water. It lies just inland from the coastal town of Cardigan, providing a quieter residential alternative while remaining connected to local services. The landscape is a mix of pastoral fields and small pockets of deciduous woodland.

A notable feature is the presence of the historic Llangoedmor Church, dedicated to St. Cunedda, which sits in a secluded churchyard overlooking the Teifi. The ward's boundaries include parts of the river's northern bank, where the land levels out into grazing marshes. This is a primarily agricultural area, with the community focused around the chapel and village hall in Beulah, forming a distinct parish within the wider Ceredigion countryside.
