Cefni

Cefni ward is situated in the centre of Anglesey, encompassing a largely rural landscape of farmland and small settlements. The area is defined by the presence of the Afon Cefni, one of the island's principal rivers, which flows through it towards the Cefni Reservoir. This inland location provides a contrast to the coastal wards, with a focus on agriculture and local community life centred around villages like Bodffordd.

A notable feature is the Cors Ddyga RSPB reserve, a significant area of low-lying wetlands that provides important habitat for birdlife. The geography is generally low-lying, with the land used predominantly for pastoral farming. The ward offers a quiet, settled environment, with its character shaped by its agricultural heritage and the natural resources of its river and wetland systems.
