Lamphey ward is a rural area situated just east of Pembroke in south Pembrokeshire. It encompasses the historic village of Lamphey itself, along with the smaller settlements of Hodgeston and Freshwater East. The landscape is primarily agricultural, characterised by a mix of arable and pastoral farmland. The ward extends to include a section of the scenic Pembrokeshire Coast National Park coastline.

This coastline includes the broad, sandy sweep of Freshwater East beach, a popular destination for visitors.
