Llanmorlais and Three Crosses lie on the western edge of Swansea’s council area, close to the entrance to the Gower peninsula. Three Crosses sits beside the A4118, with Fairwood Common and Swansea Airport a short distance away. The area combines small clusters of housing with working farmland and lanes. The village name recalls three stone crosses that once marked local routes and remain part of the local place names and field boundaries.
