The Parkfield area is located in the northeast of Stockton-on-Tees, situated on the north bank of the River Tees. It is primarily a residential district characterised by terraced housing. The area is bordered by the A1046 Durham Road to the north and the Teesdale industrial estate lies to its immediate east.
