Cefn West

Cefn West is a primarily residential ward situated on the western edge of Wrexham. The area is characterised by housing estates and suburban development, with a mix of property types. It is bordered by the larger community of Coedpoeth to the north and more rural land to the west. The geography is defined by its position on the lower slopes rising from the Clywedog Valley. A notable local feature is the Nant Mill woodland and visitor centre, which offers walking trails along the river. The area includes parts of the older mining settlement of Brymbo, reflecting the region's industrial heritage. Housing developments have expanded significantly in recent decades, altering the landscape from its previous character.
