Connah's Quay North

Connah's Quay North is situated on the western bank of the River Dee estuary, forming a distinct residential and industrial segment of the wider town. The area is characterised by a mix of housing estates and significant industrial infrastructure, including the Deeside Industrial Park which borders the community. Its landscape is largely flat, shaped by its position within the coastal plain, with views across the water towards the Wirral peninsula.

A notable landmark is the blue-painted bascule bridge over the Shotton Locks, a functional piece of local engineering that connects different parts of the quayside.
