Markhouse & St James Park

Markhouse & St James Park is an electoral ward in the London Borough of Waltham Forest centred on the streets around Markhouse Road and St James Street. The area mixes Victorian terraces, interwar housing and pockets of municipal development, with a local high street on St James Street where independent shops, small grocers and cafes serve residents. Community facilities include primary schools, a community centre and places of worship that sit close to everyday services and bus routes that link the ward to the rest of the borough and to central London.
